Default Team Orion 15T SV2 vs Titan 12T

I've heard a lot of people say that their Titan 12T's die pretty quickly. I hope my doesn't suffer this fate too soon, but I know it will happen some day. So I'd like to be ready...

I've got a Stampede XL-5. The ESC can handle 15T 540's and 12T 550's. I was looking at the Team Orion 15 Turn Double Formula SV2 Pro BB. Anyone have experience with this motor? How is it's performance compared to the Titan 12T? I'd like it to be faster, if not as fast, as the Titan 12T. And I'm assuming that this is a 540 motor, not a 550, like the Titan.

You might also want to look into the SpeedGems Extreme 15t double motor. My friend has it and it really kicks dust compared to the titan 12t.

I have the Orion 15T motor. Its a fairly good motor for the price but can't compare to higher end models.

Cool, thanks, I'll add the SpeedGems 15T to my list of potentials candidates.

EDIT: That is a 540 size motor, is it not? A lot of the listings don't even give actual dimensions, not to mention whether it's a 540 or 550.

Yes, there are not many 550 size motors on the market for cars/trucks.

Are you saying you weren't a fan of the Team Orion 15T?
