Default Question

Could someone please explain to me the importance of ESC, motor, and the battery and how they all play a role. I just watched a vid of a Revo with a Nemesis 8xl and Mamba ESC, 4s and it just flew. The Neu motor I was looking at was over $200. What is the most important factor of getting good performance the motor or ESC. Explain please.

Default RE: Question

motor converts movement of electrons(current) to rotation

esc directs and alters current from the batteries (voltage and amps) to the motor

battery supplys current to the system

The most important factor is dependent on the powersystem, either high voltage or high amperage, dpending on what you want

Default RE: Question

The motor shreds the pinion gears

The esc burns your finger when you touch it

The battery's blow up when you charge them too much

Brushless boy got it right. (that was a real hard one)

I said it once and I'll say it again. Its a complete rip off! Wait until the MMM system comes out the get one. The only $300 and it comes with a MMM ESC and a Neu 1515 1y motor.

I do not understand how you think it is a rip off bud. With what you suggest I will still need a battery and a Lipo preferably right? So the Max Amps 3s 8000 is $220 alone. Am I missing something???? Thanks

He's talking about the Monster mamba maxx. It's got a neu motor and a new esc or something. It's gonna be a great deal.
