Default Do you race your RC?

It's a simple yes or no question. Please post and list where you race and what ELECTRIC class you race?
Bashers are welcome to. I just need to know the right people to ask questions to.
I'm voting for both, because I do in fact do both.

I'll be racing in April here in owensboro. At Speedway RC club(Golfland)
Right this weekend I'm going to Albion IL (Action Hobby)

I'm concentrating on the 4-Wheel Mod Class(for now).

I've raced my E-maxx before in the monster truck class against nitro monster trucks.
I raced it stock with the 550 motors in 2005, and got 2 3rd place plaques.

The rustler I raced but ended up getting 2nd in 2003.

Been in 4-Wheel buggy for 2 years. I'm basically 13-6 13 wins 6 losses. Not too shabby.
IF I win or lose I'll post them here.

This will be my first year for the 4-Wheel mod, the rest of the time I was in Sportsman.

I race my MF2 in the off-road 1/10th mod truck class, and last weekend I tried racing my TC4 in the on-road stock sedan class. Next weekend I will probably also race in the 1/18 scale modified truck class and maybe even the 18r stock class. Racing goes on year-round here, and stock allows stock brushless while modified means 'any motor, any battery pack'.

Here are some videos of the local races they run every other weekend in my area. Mostly novices but there are a handful of good drivers too.

I'm going to race as soon as I get my batts for my xxx-t, but that is probably going to be the only class I'll race in electric, plan to race MT and maybe ST in nitro.[8D] The places I will race are Lake havasu r/c raceway and scottsdale r/c speedway.

Will post race results once I start.[8D]

Cool another B44 guy! Looks like everyone wants the B44.
I have to admit it has been the best kit I have ever built FOR RACING.

I [kindof] race, it is on a homemade track, and (so far) it is me and my sis who race, most of the time I just drive my truck around over the jumps, it is fun

I am more of a basher, but I do like to take my pede to the racetrack. Not for medals, just for fun.

A couple times at golfland when not enough people showed up we just bashed, but that was in 2005.
Need to get the twin force fixed too!

I live in Michigan and I race a lot:
Mini (Vendetta ST)
Mod Truck (T4)
1/8 Buggy (E-MBX5)
1/8 Truggy (E-MBX5T)

Most of my racing is at Washtenaw RC raceway near Ann Arbor. I also race at Factory Tracks in Highland.

[link]http://www.rcproductdesigns.com/images/wash6.jpg[/link] Here's a pic from Washtenaw. We affectionately call it "The Barn." That's me out there eating a brownie during the track build earlier this fall. That's my Truggy on the table. We get between 140 and 180 entries. Racing is every other Saturday.

man, that is the pits, yeah, I guess I am lucky since we live on a (kindof) large (relatively speaking) plot of land), maybe you can talk to the dudes who run the track and see if they can get a new category put in[8D]

How you doing hap,
When you are racing nitro do you need a starter box or will a drill start be Ok?
As you can see I havent really raced before but I have been intrested in racing for a while now. Im getting pretty bored basing around the house for the last 3 years and I was thinking about heading out to Factory tracks and try it out. I see you get a lot of entrys do you have novice or Rookie class? Do you just show up there or do you have to sign up before hand like a softball league? Its not to far away I live in Lake Orion so 35-40 minutes aint bad.
Thanks
