VXL Cars Price Cut
Just an fyi to those who are interested tower cut the prices on the VXL cars by quite a bit.
$269 for the bandit
$279 for the stampede
$289 for the rustler
plus the $20 towe coupon and if you buy in before Monday you get a 25 traxxas rebate too.
I bought the bandit to accompany my stampede. I couldnt pass it up for $225 shipped.

Now I feel even worse about upgrading the Xl-5 and not just getting the VXL. Those are very cheap compared to buying the XL-5 then upgrading..

Damn that's a steal!! I mean for $100 more than the XL-5s, you get a BL system, 5x11 bearings, turnbuckle camber links, STEEL GEARS!!!, better servo, on and on..
Wow.....Almost no reason to buy a regular XL-5 now,,... just save up $100 more and get a awesome truck/buggy for $270!

The $25 traxxas rebate ends today so if ya want that better buy it soon. But even without that it still a good price.
I saw the traxxas message board that someone worked at a hobby store and they cut the prices too, I am assuming traxxas just had a price cut.

Thanks for this info, me too had just bought a used xl-5 pede on ebay for $129 shipped with 4 batteries, bunch of extra parts, camber aligment tool, tool box and RTR. I guess I can sell this one now that I just ordered a VXL stampede for $268.98 shipped before $25 rebate. Not bad at all. I guess that rebate offer ends today so hurry if you want want of these. They got to compete with the castle creation's sidewinder; at this rate soon a brushless setup will be only marginally more expensive than brushed.
