largest spur gear for old school traxxas stampede

Thread Starter

I have an old school XL1 pede and i'm in need of a large spur gear. The largest I can find for the old style truck is 87 tooth. I'm looking for something closer to 100. Not wrried about keepingthe slipper assemble or fitting the gear cover. Any recommendations?

I use some 90 tooths under the stock cover and with stock slipper made by Kimbrough.
Robinson, hpi make some 93 and 96 tooths, but they use standard bolting pattern. I'm not sure if they would bolt up in the traxxas.

Larger than 90 tooth spur will not fit because of the drive shaft hitting it underneath...Dunno about 93t but definitely not 100t.
