Just tell her that it is the same one.. just different shell...
HAHA! My buddy told his wife same thing when he was testing out his newly acquired HPI Savage X nitro truck. He was running it without the shell and tried to tell her he fixed up his old AE truck with a new frame. Did not work. They seem to pay better attention that we think they do. He got busted. LOL!

I can't be too shady, she told me she's getting me another RC for christmas. Not likely as expensive as a CR-01, most likely a re-re. She's leaning towards Grasshopper I think, she likes it. Suits me, I'll throw the silvercan from the Landcruiser into it when the CR-Tuned motor comes out

I used to love my Grass Hopper. Was a lot of fun when I put the truck kit on it (Chevron Tires). That buggy took a beating and kept on ticking. Plenty of run time on the 540 motor and speed was plenty to bash on ramps all day.

I forgot the bumpers and the Ambush body. You need to use their tuber chassis to make the Ambush body look like the pic though. may take some work to make the tube chassis fit the CR-01 since its made for the AX-10.

Won't let me upload the pic[:@]

I tried on pro-lineracing.com and they aren't available yet so probably not at Tower yet. Looks like by Dec 15th on pro-line's site.

When you buy the accessory pack you get the whole tool set!!! How cool is that?! The other accessory pack is the cooler, winch, bin, gas can.

I like the build personally. You get a better feel for how it works so you can better fix it or mod it down the road. Cool that they offer it in RTR I guess for some. I probably would not have bought it if it came out like that first.

Can't see why anyone wouldn't want to build it though. That is at least half the fun to me.

I can't wait for those scale accessories...

I'm finishing off the Ambush body, decals and tint. I don't like the colour much, I should have gone with the silver I had in my hand. The Dupli-Color truck bed liner on the roof looks so good, and will serve it's purpose when I roll it. A good basher body I suppose.

You sprayed bed liner "On" the roof? That's cool. That will help when she rolls.[8D]

That looks awesome.

Will the bedliner flex when the lexan flexes?

Here's some pics finally of the replacement shocks. They are still holding up well, took it out today in the freezing cold to kill a battery pack.

Also you can see the cut down rear servo tray as some of the folks on rcc have done. Looks much better I think, just need to get some axle lock outs and I should have a proper looking rear axle.

body on

Almost time for a shelf body, got some good damage to this one so far and a few splits here and there.

How do you like the 4WS with this setup? It looks like you are just using 1 servo. I was thinking of 2 servo steering set-up. Not sure if I want to put adapters on rear to fix rear axles straight. Not going to do any "comp stuff" that I know of.
Thanks
