Tyco Rebound
So my friend just took apart his little tyco rebound and wired a 10.8 volt battery from a Bosch drill (shows 12 volts on a multi meter) now that thing freakin flys. the battery is almost as big as the car so its really top heavy and hard for it to get off the line cuz it tends to flip right over. any ideas for a wheelie bar we can jerry rig before we race it against my e-maxx? so far all we have thought of is boltin a hotwheels car to the back of it some how.

haha yea its pretty old its been crashed and glued back together so many times its ridiculous. i doubt we'll do lipos for this wayyyy to expensive. but he does have some even biger lithium ion batteries for the bigger work drills. god knows if those lil motors can take it tho

I've got one of these in the loft somewhere, the 3 wheeled 1, with that big green wheel.
Might dig it out and see what i can do with it

RE: Tyco Rebound
the tyco rebound was my first r/c i ever had and i thought it was nuts, cool concept with the tank steer and being able to do spins and flips and tricks. i hooked up 2 9 foot batterys and the battery wires would melt off the board and might top out 8-10-mph:P i scrapped it after 8-10 years, then i got an evader and i liked my rebound better then evader was junk. i had the 4-wheel one

RE: Tyco Rebound
This is getting me thinking of taking up an idea I had a while ago to build a better Rebound. Something bigger and faster than the original toy. Maybe with some Imex Jumbo Kongs for two sided ground clearance and cushion. Hmmm...

yes these were a pretty tough r/c for being a toy , i like that idea of fitting jumbo kongs , with a real esc and reciever , a couple of 540 motors , would be cool here is a vid showing a kidd kick the thing around the street ,lol,,....
