Default charging lipo at 0.75c????

i have read in a few places that charging a lipo at 1c is recommended. is it????
im getting a protek 4000mah 3s 20c and the triton jr and an equinox.
if i want to charge above 3amps i must buy a seperate harness. i have no interest in getting it and i dont care about how long it takes to charge.

i was just wondering am i damaging the pack by charging at 0.75c?????

thanks
