Tamiya ESC with Traxxas receiver
Anyone else have problems settting up a tamiya ESC when using a traxxas radio and receiver. I have several of these radio / receiver combos laying around as they're cheap and great for my normal cars and trucks like the Pajero I just completed. Only problem is I could not get the ESC to program using the Traxxas receiver. The instruction say the Tamiya ESC is only compatable with certain receivers but I didn't think it really mattered.

The receiver does have BEC. I can get the steering to work so I know it's getting signal from the controller but the ESC just flashes red and will not accept any input through the set up button.
