Default MMM v3 cogging problems.

I got back from my track and i guess this is what its doing i didnt think of cogging before but this is my first electric.
My wheels just start twitching back and forth and the car cogs a couple of feet and stops then it does it again.
Just like this.

(that isnt my car just an example.)
But i didnt know cogging affected the steering also.
Do i have to send the esc back or is this just a programming problem with the v3

I would check to make sure you don't have a battery issue (just to rule it out), by trying a back up battery.

Its not the radio system.
I tried my other receiver that works in my other truck and it did the same thing.
I guess its not cogging sense cogging is only with the motor.
With this i drive it for a couple of minutes and then the whole car wont move and then it coggs for a couple feet and the steering goes wack like that in the vid and then its normal again for another couple of minutes before it does it again.

I would call up castle, maybe you got a dud ESC or a bad motor? No e-mail, phone them directly.
Or maybe your starting power is set too high, beyond what your batteries will handle?

Are you using 2.4 ghz?

The radio would work in another truck because the other truck isn't using the MMM system is it?

You could also try upgrading to better connectors such as power polls.

I would call castle too.

But just for fun, try pulling the red wire from the ESC-RX plug. That will disable the BEC meaning your receiver and servo are unpowered. To power them try a receiver pack like you run on your nitro. If it runs fine like that your BEC has issues.
