ok so i got a traxxas slash and i am getting the velineon brushless system and cooling fan for the esc and i was wondering if the driveshafts would hold up to it and if i should get different tires, also what would be my top speed with the stock spur gear and 23t pinion
the battery pack i have is an associated reedy 3600mah wolfpack 9.6v and im gettin a max amps 30C Lipo 6500 2S2P 7.4V Battery Pack

Yes the drive shafts will hold up fine. The slash has narrow tires that don't grip very well so it's pretty easy on parts. If you swap to something larger then you might have drive shaft problems. My Slash on 9.6V runs in the high 30's low 40's on pavement. A 3S lipo will get you into the upper 40's with a gear swap

do i need the cooling fan for the esc???
in other words, get an infared therometer, check the temps and add a fan if required.
