I have a question actually. Has there been any consideration on using the upcoming sc10 longer chassis with the J82 buggies, would this work?

Andy, do you have any firm figures on the exact weight difference between a t4 and j82 setup?

I dont have exact figures actually. I know the J82 is lighter due to the lessened width of the front wheels/tires and less material in the body. It wheelies a lot easier than a truck, haha. I'll see if I can dig up some more information though.

The body is made to fit both the nitro and electic trucks, and it out of substantial .040 polycarbonate.

Its number 0041 for the electric and 0044 for the nitro.

The rustler body looks cooler and fits the stampede fine.

I was wondering about the body for the slash. I am considering getting it over the desert rat. Is it made with the same thickness as the rustler JConcepts body?

Yes, they are both out of the same thickness material.

My LHS got four of those in yesterday and they look great. Unfortunately, I’m broke.

Yeah this is the problem Andy...my local track doesn't want to let me run it in mod truck class due to the "weight advantage" haha. Or wants to put it to a constant racer vote each race which I refuse to deal with...I even offered to handicap the thing with extra stick on weights or soemthing. Stinks because I think this is a cool concept and would love to run it, and I absolutely hate the looks of the stock t4 body haha. Oh well I'm going to check with some other tracks and see what they say too. Would be good if I knew a exact weight difference so I would know how much to adjust.

It shouldnt really matter in mod...if they want to be "faster" they can just bolt in more motor, haha. I think it should only be an issue when running in stock/10.5/13.5 honestly. Its a shame that they arent more open to you running it, the vehicle might catch on there if more people could check it out.

Default RE: JConcepts (Wheels, Tires, Bodies, Etc)

I recently ordered a set of Rulux wheels for T4/GT2. I have a T4, and I don't see how the heck these wheels will work. I'm pretty new to the hobby and I feel like I just waisted my money on these things. Is there an adapter or something to make these work on a T4? I like the way these wheels look and I need 2 sets so it was cool that you sell them in 4 packs. The price was pretty reasonable too. I just hope I can make em work.
