Default Associated SC10 Video!!!

While on another forum of my local track, one person posted this. It is the sc10 at ocrc raceway. Looks alot more stable compared to the slash but of course it is based off the t4.

Looks like a great race truck which is what I'm sure a lot of slash racers will upgrade to. Then again I wouldn't really compare the slash to the SC10, that would be like comparing the bandit to the B44. Different strokes and the Slash is still a better beginner basher with the occasional race. Especially due to it's durability.

All I have to say is the first company to create a 4wd corr style truck (not a monster truck) with a tranny that can handle high speeds gets my money.

ARG. No more 8th scale buggy for me. I might just save for this. I have a slash but there is no way this thing would survive what my slash does. Here lately (passed 2 days) I have had two of my ramps set up a certain way, and I am getting 10-12 foot HIGH jumps with my slash, and notta thing has broken (knock on wood lol)

Mine is already pre-ordered, but I might have to bite the bullet and get a slash later on also, that is if I cant race this chassis.
I already tried racing my desert truck in the slash class and that didnt work out, slashes were bouncing me around everywhere
and I was afraid I would have broke something, but no just bent the turnbuckles, and I simply bent them back.
Having 4-5 slashes gang up on you isnt fun at all.[&o] I now know how well built the slash is, they never break.

I just dont think this chassis can hang with the slashes, they need to be seperate like a stock/mod class or something.
I'll have to wait and see what my local tracks come up with, they have not said much anything.

I think he meant durability wise. Race them on the same course and it would be 20 pitbulls and 1 greyhound.

I don't see these as competition for the Slash in a Spec class, since it's a kit and comes with no electronics.

In an unlimited or mod class, a Slash with the Thundertech chassis should hang with the SC10.

It's in the latest RCCA. RCCA said the SC10 is legal to compete against the Slash in spec racing. I think it would be nice to see two different legal platforms racing together, rather than everybody running the same exact thing.

I dont think its gonna EAT slashes. If you change the roll center and adjust the shocks well the slash can handle just like that. That didnt look much different than me driving my slash on a track. The SC-10 is set up for racing and the slash is set up for bashing. All you have to do is set the slash up for racing and Im sure they are pretty equal.

How could it run spec class with the slash??? it doesnt come with electronics or power. If they put a 12T titan and xl-5 in it i could see allowing it.

That truck looks way more dialed then a slash. and since its based off a T4 you could probably set it up real good.

Traxxas is working on that. But its gonna be 1/16 scale. I agree though, there needs to be a 1/10 scale 4wd electric.

That SC10 looks like its pretty well planted. But I also see that it gets a little sideways a few times in the vid. That might be just enough to keep it fun. I may end up getting one of those myself at some point. With any luck they'll have one at my LHS for people to drive.
