tra3350 or novak 4.5?

tra3350 or novak 4.5?
Which of these would be faster? Slash has the tra 3350 with an orion 3000 battery and Losi XXXT has Novak 4.5 with Orion 3000 battery.

What is a tra 3350? What kind of batteries? NIMH/lipo? same cell count? Are you talking about Traxxas' 3500 kv velineon? What gearing? etc etc, Either way, I'd say the 4.5 would be faster if both were using a 2s lipo and geared to the fastest potential in each car. Unless you got a good 3s for the velineon, if that is what you mean. Other than that I don't know.

3350 is the part # for the VXL system. So he is asking which is faster: Slash with a VXL and an orion 3000 battery or Losi XXXT with Novak 4.5 and Orion 3000 battery.

The 3350 is the part number for the VXL system.
On 6 cells I would say the Novak system would probably be faster. But too many unknowns to determine for sure.

Thanks mufflerbearing and darkshadow for understanding what i was talking about.
My XXXT gears are 88/17...not sure about the slash.
Gonna race this weekend so I guess we'll find out. Thanks again for the input!

Well, I assumed right then. 4.5 any day, until you drop a 3s lipo in the vxl. 6 cell nimh or 2s lipo, no contest the 4.5 will eat it. That is in relative speed, on the track where handling and driver control is concerned, its a tossup, but the XXX T is a pretty well designed truck.
