This was talked about on the Traxxas forums , for some reason Traxxas assigned a model# too the V twin E MAXX .

Maybe they thought about releasing it IDK , but I know there is no VXL E maxx in the works . The VXL system is too small to run the E MAXX efficiently anyway .

Unless they go with dual VXL. This would mean they can just keep everything the way it is. No extra motor mounts... etc. Just use two VXL systems or a single MMM esc with two VXL motors.

How about a smaller truck with 4wd and the vxl , not 1/16 scale, but not 1/8 like the e-maxx. I'm thinking a nice 1/10 actual scale might be nice. You know, smaller than the e-sav.

If you go smaller then the E-Savage you would have one the size of a Pede.

I don't see why they'd do it, they have already gone the OEM route with castle so why would they back out now and try to design their own system?

Yep, pretty much. A nice 4wd monster truck with a single 36x56 motor and single battery pack . Kinda like a midsized e-maxx or e-revo.

emaxx is considered 10th scale

it may be called 1/10 but its definetly more of a 1/8. The dual vxl idea is neat but I would think the castle system would be way better.

emaxx is considered 10th scale
The original E-Maxx might have been 1/10 but the new E-Maxx is definately a 1/8. It is the same size as my Savage and Savage Flux.

Yes, but the Slash is a 1/10th and is the same size as the Maxx.

A monster truck is very large in reality, for an RC MT to be properly 1/8th, it has to be massive. The Savage was never really 1/8th, the MGT and LST XXL and now Savage XL are getting there.

I would consider the CEN Genesis to be 1/8th as well.

Scale is pretty subjective.

The Savage has the same wheel base as a 1/8 buggy.
