Default Slash broken...finally...

Well, not really broken... after a month of bashing everyday... bad jumps and bad landings..

it's only the little oval ring between the bumper and the body as you can see from the picture..

The reason: missed a jump, right into a concrete electrical post. had my ramp beside the post that's why..

but it's not a big deal, does not effect the Slash at all, tiny issue.

is there any upgrade replacement for that little ring?

Don't think I've ever heard of one of those breaking. Not much point to an after market part if the stock one is that tough.

The one on my REVO has broken a couple times, any time I hit an object head on, it snaps...

I'd just get an OEM replacement. It absorbed up most of the impact and snapped. Could have caused further damage to the rest of the car (although the Slash is damn tough!)

I understand the fun of getting a part because you need it and doing a hop up upgrade. But it seems like there aren't any right now for that part. If the stock replacement is cheap, stock up a few and you're good to go.

Are you running tamiya plugs on that slash or is that just something else that got in the pic?

Yes, he is running an adaptor from the stock Traxxas plug to an Tamiya end. Guess he has some older batteries that he runs....
