And the new project I was talking about, well here it is!

A Mugen MBX5-T truggy with a BCE extended chassis (durability and handling upgrade), CF front top plate (durability upgrade) and 7 bodies, 9 full sets of wheels and tires, and a ton of spares!

And it will be nitro but it isnt nitro yet so I can get away with posting it!

Oh and you guys will probably hate me for this, but I got EVERYTHING you see in the pictures for only $310 shipped. Yes, all those wheels and tires, the truck itself, all the spares and bodies, for just $310 shipped. And considering the truggy has a BCE chassis, that makes it even more of an epic score, because BCE chassis for 1/8 buggies/truggies are top of the line.

The M's are just the decals. So is all the tape. The only color sprayed so far is black. The M's and stripes and headlights/tailights will be green next. I will post some pics when I spray it.

Oh yea you got a killer deal on that by the way. It looks awesome

So the M's are like an internal masking decal? Like you take them off and then spray the green right?

Yeah, when I found that thing on RCTech, I knew I wanted it right then and there, knew I had to get that deal while I could, pleaded with Shelbee for a while and then I was able to get it .

I am selling off some of those wheel/tire sets and a couple of those bodies if you are interested, get on AIM.

Yea they are an internal decal. A guy at my hobbyshop printed them for me and put them on. I could have put them on but he didnt have them so I just gave him the body. They are easy to make though I found out
Yep you just peal all the stuff off like the M's and then spray your green. Then spray a white overcoat and you are done.

Here are a couple pics of my brother's new shell. It is covered in grass right now haha. Also a couple of my slash body. The green is very very light right now, it is the first coat. And also the protective film is still on so it may look kinda nasty. But I think it is comming out very nicely.

Thanks!

Also just found out it has a full set of ceramic bearings in it! This is probably like a $700+ truggy with all of the spares it comes with and all the bodies and tires, and for just $310 shipped...... I am so happy I bought it, probably would never have found a deal that good ever again.

I'm gonna go get som new rear shock shafts today, both of mine were bent prety bad and scratched up. Then I'll try some 40wt oil with 3 hole pistons. I can't seem to get my rear shocks set up right...its really annoying. There too stiff right now, but they dont spring up enough so the rear is really close to the ground and the dampening is really slow. My dads is stock except for the oil, or lack of it. But his is really soft and it springs all the way back up when you push it down. I dont understand that...maybe it's because of my wheelie bar and that adds too much weight? i was thinking of getting some shorter spring and then some touring car springs so its set up like the rear of a Baja 5B, but two different spring on the same shock. Also, I dont know if I can do anything about it, but the whole rear a-arm/driveshaft/bearing carrier/camber link seem to wobble alot. I can move the wheel about +/-3 degrees of camber and toe.

I'm proud to say that I'm 99% done with my RC18T FT Build.  I have everything in hand minus the eZRun Motor and HC Deans Plugs.  They should both be here by Friday.  I'm going to test it out for a few days before I send my Mamba to MTM to have the signal wires resoldered.

All of the upgrades so far are:

RPM Bumper
DP Gear Cover
DP DragLink
FT Shocks with O-Ring Mod and Green Slime
Pro-Pulse Dirt Tires
Hitec HS-65HB
Tightened Servo Saver
Mamba 25 Pro (Modded Mamba-25)
eZRun 12T 7800kv Motor
Zippy/Rhino 1750mah 2S 25C Li-Po

Other things I bought for the RC18T FT:

IMAX B5 Charger
SwangHobby Volt/Amp Meter

I took some pictures today and it's amazing the difference good lighting will make:

iTz Nicholas, please read the first post, it says please do not post pictures over 640x480 size. Any bigger than that and it makes the thread page too long and takes forever to load for people who use 56k. Photobucket can resize pictures to 640x480 when you upload them and you can change them at any time, so if you would please make them smaller.

I was driving with a guy from my hobby shop today. He has a baja 5b that does 53mph. I was going and he came up and hit my slash right on the rear. His truck flew up (this was on road) and cartwheeled for a while. Mine did the same but didn't fly up so high. But all in all I broke his baja and my slash is unscathed .

Oh yea I am going to post some pics of the body soon also. Completed.

The pics don't really justify how cool this thing looks... The camera made the green look a little dark for some reason. It is like neon outside in the sun though. Can't look at it without sunglasses on hahaha.

Thanks guys. It was not hard at all. I encourage anyone who is considering it (but thinks it is to hard) to do it. You can probably spot some flaws on my body also, but who cares. I don't spend a ton of time on them because they get ruined. But it is so easy to do and this is comming from a one color painter that can make a shell in 45 minutes. This one took me some time and a little more money but I think it was well worth it...

MY FLM ADAPTERS SHOULD BE IN TOMORROW!!! I am so happy lol.

That 1st picture in the 2nd row, that looks the best. The sun is like shining through the window and lighting up the back of that M, makes it look perfect.

And I wish I had some decent painting abilities. Even with a rattle can I tend to mess up.... I will just stick to some of those 7 nicely painted bodies that are coming with my MBX5-T!
