I responded to the onyx one, don't know about the intelipeak stuff though.
the 230 is cool, you'll probably want to go lipo in the future, which is good.

To the OP, I have the Onyx 230 and it does what it advertises. I like the fact thats its inexpensive, handles all my Nicads and Lipo's and the fact its AC/DC.
And with a $25 Blinky balancer and octupus charger lead package (does tamiya, deans, traxxas, etc.), I've got all I need.
