I just went outside on my garden to play my E-Firestorm Flux. I turned on the transmitter, then the ESC. It didn't response, and I thought it require a calibration so I pulled full throttle and suddenly the wheels spins fast and I seen some smoke came out from the ESC with burning smell. Then it's not working anymore dude, it's dead.

The ESC is HPI's Motiv device, and it's dead already so I'm thinking about buying Mamba Max as an upgrade. Is it better?

At least I learned my lesson. Patience when I switch on the ESC...

well yeah the mamba system would be better what batteries are you running?

How old is it? Contact HPI and maybe they will warranty it. I believe the motiv is just the CC Sidewinder so the Mamba Max would be an upgrade.

I use a 5000mAh 2S LiPo.

My ESC is new! Only a week and half old. I think I should contact HPI to see if they can offer me one free of charge.
