What kind of annoying stuff do you find in your RC after bashing?
In this photo, I was wondering why I had a weird noise from the drivetrain. That settles it!

I love this thread already!
I actually had a full length tooth-pick inside a tire after running in a parking lot....
like, 1/16 of an inch was sticking out, I was like "Hey look! a little stick in my tire!"
but no, it was a tooth pick!
and the next day my real car got a flat tire....hmmmm

I have "tinkeritis", before racing or bashing i will set at my table and feel the shocks for 30 minutes, and if i have dirt in my springs, i will take it all apart and clean everything untill the shock is smooth again! Sometimes before a race i will start changing my setup even though the last race the car handled fine!

well this is exactly after but, like when i go all the way out back to my track (10 minutes) and run a lap then a wheelnut comes off, or a screw comes unscrewed..

I let my Slash sit about 10 mins after a run and when I went to pick it up I found a chipmunk had taken up residence under the body. I think it crawled in after i was done. Can't imagine it was in there while running.

rocks, stick, pine needles, dirt, odd parts, maybe a screw or 2 mostly rocks, i've had one get stuck in my TVPs and it got locked into my flywheel...

Goose Poop seems to be the worst thing I find in mine with tons of grass clippings and twigs a close second and third...

Shards of broken glass, pebbles wedged under the steering assembly, grass wrapped around the driveshafts, hair wrapped around the axles, and the occasional bug that gets crushed between the spur and pinion gears.

A quarter got wedged in between my flywheel and chassis on my x-cellerator a long time ago. Was the wierdest thing i have ever had happen. And cool at the same time.

I am not sure this counts as bashing debris..but the worst thing I ever saw was to a 1/10 pan car ... it was down near the river bottoms at an old raceway at what was then MARBLES HOBBY SHOP. It was late at night under the lights, the cars were ticking off some fast laps.. one car suddenly hits someting and goes flying off the track, when they took the body off there was an explode toad inside..it had literally blown up from the impact and was gutted and goo was all over everything, I think some of it was cooking on the speed control ,and motor! Thats back in the hot running brushed motor days...when it really could get toasty under the hood.

I seem to have the habit of picking up body clips. I now own a gold one, a blue long Pro-Line one, a red one, and two black ones. I once had an acorn wedged so tightly in my bellcrank that I could not steer.

Running in the park, t4 hopped a little bit, and spun out. Drive it over and it smells like kaka. Worst part was that I couldn't throw everything in the washing machine and had to hand wash it all down...
But at least it's clean now!

For me? Cats! Well, back when I was living in the south, my friend & I used to run our nitro trucks up & down the street. Our neighborhood must have had a cat infestation, they were everywhere. And they were annoying too! I remember a tomcat used to sit up on our backyard fence and yeowl as loud as he could late at night waking up everyone in the area.
During the day when we ran our RCs, sometimes these cats would venture out into the street and we would make an effort to chase them with our trucks! Good times! I remember a tomcat my friend almost tagged with his truck, that cat jumped straight up about 6ft just before the truck reached him. I never seen any cat jump so high before.
Anyway, I think someone finally complained to the city and called the animal shelter because the stray cats one day just vanished.
During the day when we ran our RCs, sometimes these cats would venture out into the street and we would make an effort to chase them with our trucks! Good times! I remember a tomcat my friend almost tagged with his truck, that cat jumped straight up about 6ft just before the truck reached him. I never seen any cat jump so high before.
Anyway, I think someone finally complained to the city and called the animal shelter because the stray cats one day just vanished.

About 7 years ago I found a very deecomposed mouse tucked between the throttle servo and trans. in my T-Maxx after a race.
Other than that just the usual pepples and occasional weed.
