Need new shocks for Slash
What set of shocks is the best option for my slash, i already tried thicker wt oil, it isn't working. I think my caps are too worn out and if i am going to replace them I just want to switch to a decent aluminum set. Any suggestions? The big bore shocks seem really spendy. I saw some other aluminum ones for around 30 dollars.

you can go with traxxas big bores, or I would also suggest getting some AE shocks, factory team would be the best. It's whatever you can afford though.

I would also check out EBAY
Also people say that the losi shocks are quite good too.

RE: Need new shocks for Slash
I'm not too crazy about AE shocks. Personally, I think if someone wants the best. Kyosho RB5 shocks are the way to go.
However, I have the Slash specific big bores on another truck and they are smooth. The problem with $30 ebay aluminum shocks is if you break a shock shaft, or need a new piston, good luck finding the correct sized one.
