Awsome! Im probably going to stick a 4600kv sidewinder kit in it after the stock motor dies. And then start saving for lipo.

The Blitz is a great truck, I like it better than lots of the short course trucks out there frankly.

Good deal, I saw one at the LHS the other day, looks like an SC10 but beefier. I wonder how good the tires are.

THIS THING ROCKS!!!!! I got it today around 2:30, got deans connectors on the ESC while charging the battery, and has it going in about a minuet. (the damn body clips are tiny and hurt my fingers) I didn't have to set anything but the steering trim. I did speed runs and jumps, slides on loose and hard pack dirt and can honestly say for being 2wd it stays planted. I jumped it pretty good a few times, hit things and drove it hard. (gotta break it in properly) And it just bounced back asking for more. I have had a slash and this thing handles better and is smoother than the slash. I just think that the slash is a tad bit tougher. But overall i like the blitz alot more. And compared to the sc10 it handles bettter due to better tires. The suspension design is just as good if not better, AND the a-arms are beefier so it will take more punishment. All around this thing is a great truck!
Will have a couple pics in a few minuets. And more once i get it over to my buddys house tomorrow.

Looks nice SoCal.... I watched the Horizon video and it looks like all you need to do is maybe change the rear toe blocks depending on your surface.... Man I want one now

I'm not familiar if the Blitz comes with the wheels/tires attached or not....but your threads are going the wrong direction.

Well, i beat the crap out of it on wednesday at my friends house. We made a pretty sweet track in his yard. I havent touched the suspention at all, everything is stock settings and it seems to handle really well. And jumps great. In response the the tires, they get better traction reversed. Thats why they are backwards.
Heres some pics of the track.

I need to have one of my friends take some pics of my car on the track.
Me and a couple friends want to just get everyone wo know with short course trucks together and have a race. 2 bucks to race, 2 qualifyers, and one main. Winner takes all the cash thet everyone put in to race.
Sounds good to me.....

More pics.

The mudflaps work pretty good lol
The only thing i dislike about the truck is tons of dirt get in the chassis. Any ideas on how to keep this from happening?

Just got 5700kv mamba sidewinder brushless system and man did it wake up. I hade a track in my own yard not so i dont have to drive over to my friends house. But i haven't driven it on the track with the brushless yet cause i just go back from glamis. I bought the brushless system right before i left so i have only driven it in the dunes with paddles on a crappy 3000mah nimh battery and it hauls. I cant wait to get some better batteries and tear up my track. I will get some pics in a little while.

are those the slingshot sand paddles? if so, how do they hook up, as good as the sand paws?

Looking good. How about some video of you running around that sweet backyard track?

One thing I would definitely do is to cover up the unused receiver pins. (shake out the dirt that's already in there first) That thing is going to get filled with dirt.

Yes, they are the slingshot paddles, they are pretty skinny so you cant really slow down too much then climbing a dune. The sand paws are a little wider so they float better, but i would say as long as you pay attention to what your doing they are just fine, plus they look killer. And for the reciever, i figured that out about 2 hours ago lol, so i and going to just put a balloon around it. Thats about the easyest way to keep dirt out. And as for video i just need some batteries in my camera. Ill try in a few days when i got some time.

Awesome looking truck. I considered this, but got a better deal on the Slash from the place I got it from, hence why I went with the slash...plus has a lot more reviews, which helped swayed me. I do hear it handles better.

I one day may pick one of these up. Want a kit vehicle next though.

Nice truck!
