Electric and water
I was just thinking about once i get my b4 finished and im bashing around trails behind my house. as long as the servo, esc, and reciever are waterproofed is it gonna be ok to run thru a couple of puddles? im certainly not going to submerge the thing but i dont want to fry my motor and batts because i didnt know.

Electric and water
It should be ok as long as they are covered very good, especially your esc. If you get an Mtronics you won't have to worry about it cuz they are waterproof.

Electric and water
if you have open batteries that could be bad. Like stick packs are closed/sealed so they are ok, but like racing batteries that are separate cells connected with battery bars probably shoudlnt get wet cuz of the open metal parts carrying current...but if you use stick packs or have them waterproofed too, you should be fine.

Electric and water
That wont be an issue spoon.
Ive had my car pretty wet and muddy with no extra waterproof (bar some bluetack in the receiver) and ive not had a problem with my cells.
In the UK we race in the rain every other week and its fine

Grandslam on this forum says he drives through puddles all the time! I obviously never do because if theres a puddle and yer goin fast, the water splashes up all the time, your motor gets wet, your ESC gets wet, your car gets what, your car dies lol
