Slash 4/4 more power
Hello, I'm new to electric. I have the slash 4/4 brushless stock running 3S 4300 30c lipos. I can't make the jumps at the track that the buggys and truggys make. Am I expecting too much. Can I put a more powerful motor esc como to keep up with them ?

I'll have to check that again. It was the first time I messed with the settings on the esc. I could have gotten it wrong. It didn't seem any faster than on a 7 cell pack.

Sounds like the esc is in training mode, that thing should be screaming on 3s. I actually did the same thing when I first got my 2wd slash, although it was because the button on te esc was stuck which kept putting it in programming mode and always selected training. I knew something was wrong when there was no difference between a 6- and 7-cell pack.

if the power on 3s is the same as it was on 7cell, then either the ESC is in practice mode, or the low voltage cutoff is coming on(which cuts power in half)

Thats what it was. It was in traing mode. Now it jumps as far and is a little faster than my buggy. I put sway bars on and I can't believe the difference in handling.I'm done with nitro!
