Honest Slash 4x4 Run Time?
I have read many different threads and websites about run time with batteries. Can someone give me an idea what the average run time will be on a stock slash 4x4 brushless with the stock 3000mah battery? I am wondering if it is worth spending more money on higher mah per battery or just by more of the 3000mah. Is it worth spending more money on higher mah?

That is what I thought. I am staying away from lipos for now because of my younger kids.
So, is it worth spending more money on higher mah batteries or just buy more batteries overall?

http://www.promatchracing.com/ has good NiMH batteries at a good price. For sure they are WAY better than the stock ones.

RE: Honest Slash 4x4 Run Time?
2 3000mah battery's stacked (one on top of the other using the stock mount and Velcro wrap,
will get you about 30 mins or more....
2 5000 lipos stacked i get full hot 1 hour runs with no heat up from the lipos at all...(with the lipo safety off )
both running the in kit stock option 18T pinion ...
so it's your choice..
it's a matter of a button held to change over once hooked up..
example you run the 2 lipos when they are just watching...lol
and then run the stacked NIMH 3000 when they are driving....
running either setup requires a parallel adapter.....
good luck...
