RE: exceed Dynimite diff problems

His car is shredding diffs with big power, and his 4470kv motor is not geared right. That's what he's saying.

Are your gears in the exceed plastic or metal? If they are plastic, redcat and I'm 99% sure Himoto diffs would be steel.

RE: exceed Dynimite diff problems

Internal gears and ring&pinion gears are steel. The plastic diff cups from an HPI nitro RS4 3 *might* fit. What part is breaking, the ring&pinion or the internal gears or the plastic cup?

RE: exceed Dynimite diff problems

its the big  diff gear internal, and its metal ,but seams tobe low grade...

RE: exceed Dynimite diff problems

Get new diff cups, and try dropping HPI's diff gears in there. When you break the internal diff gears, that chews up the diff cup, and the gears don't mesh as well as they used to.
