Also, looks like bashing to me. Just because he's not flying his cars so high he needs FCC authorization doesn't mean he's not bashing. Stop being such elitist jerks about it. You're bashing your RC if you're not driving it on a track. It's that simple.

Um no. By that definition when i take my tiger tank out and cruze it arround my yard at under 1 mph ( its maxx speed ) im bashing? i think not.

It's not like there is a dictionary definition of "bashing" as it applies to RC. I think it basically comes from the term "backyard basher" which was used for someone who doesn't race, i.e. there are racers and backyard bashers. So the term "bashing" started being used for any play session with an RC that wasn't racing. Since when did it only apply to pushing the limits of air time and being as abusive as possible to the vehicle?

While I understand the points about tanks and aircraft, I think in the context of this thread it's just splitting hairs.

I try not to add any music to my vids because I know that there are people that don't have the same tastes as me. But everyone likes to hear an RC car :)

you can bash a race track, trust me I'm the guy that does the triple your scared of, I'll hit the biggest jump sideways just to see if I can land on the drivers stand.

Playing in the yard is not bashing
pulling 27% trottle at the skatepark is not bashing
the basher credo is higher farther faster, if you hit something that supprisingly don't break your car you turn around and hit it with more speed until you run out of power or break.
At the atv track a guy asked me why I would jump that little rc car 30 feet in the air and I replied the backside of that table top is slick I couldn't get anymore speed, he lauged his butt off.
I said it looks like a shake down session because that was very mild "bashing" If I had just built a new kit, made major changes or was babying a damaged or booty rigged car is the only way I would hold back that much.

I like how they jumped that kid with the skateboard. One of the hardest things to do, you have to have
near perfect timing to do that. 99.9% of the time you'll mess up the whole sequence.
Seems to me they were beating the tar out thier RC's. Doing flips like that is hard on your R/C.
Im surprized they didnt break a chassis....

I also watched Brainator's video with the tiny R/C climbing on books or something...that is mild bashing to me.
Using a tiny R/C to climb over stuff. Do burnouts on the desk...lol...
that guy was obviously bored and had to do something...

you get it,that is about 100 times more WOW than the OP video IMO. I am not saying trash your rcs, you should have a dedicated basher, something to do the impossible with, or at least try, my fifth scale has never been more than four feet in the air but my basher has been 40 feet high more than once.

youtube or google search beatyourtruck, it seems some of you don't even know what an rc can do.
