Rustler rear wheel issue

Hi,

So somehow my rustlers rear tyre has split and is unusable.
I'm not sure what i now need to do, do i just need a new tyre, or a new wheel and tyre?

Also, is there any recommendations as to what tyres i should get, and where? (i'm in the uk)

Thanks,

RE: Rustler rear wheel issue

Generally tyres and wheels are sold in pairs, and u can buy pre mounted tyres on wheels.
Most people choose to buy there wheels and tyres sepperat so Thay can mix and match brands ans styles.

U can try to remove the tyre from the rim sometimes u can save the rim. otherwise u will need to buy new rims as well as Tyres

If the wheel is not chrome. Can try boiling the wheel for 10min then ripping of the tyre and finishing with a hobby knife
(the heat helps releasing the glue)

Or

Rip/cut the tyre off then finish it of with a hobby knife

Not to sure where a good place for u would be, in Australa I recommend eBay of all places. So I guess start there.

Head over to proline.com , one tyre manufacture. But there web page is full of useful information and defiantly worth having a look.

hey,

Just a quick question to add to this,

would either of these work, on a standard rustler vxl (no mods)
