What 1/10 sc 4x4 to buy?

i have been out of the r/c world for 15/16 years and not sure what to get. I did have a Team Associated RC 10 buggy and like racing it. My buddy has got me back into it. i talked with the guy at the track and he said that most people are running 4x4 short coarse trucks. I wanted suggestions on a 4x4 SC truck. It will need to be tough; I figure there will a lot of crashes at first. any help would be great
Thanks

Check the offerings from Team Durango and Tekno. They should get you drooling...oh wait, I'm the one doing the drooling over the DEST10 and the SCT410.3. Yeah I know they are asking for a good chunk of $$$ to get those kits, but 4wd will add to the price of anything.

RustyUs is right. Normally I'd suggest an OFNA platform, but those seem to have been discontinued. Also, if those are too much, look at SCTE 2.0s from Losi.

I just bought Tekno 410.3 from tower, you can you the easy pay and split it into three payments, and right now they have $10 back in bonus cash for every $100 you spend

Although it looks like the OFNA NAME may be going away, the maker of the Hyper 10SC, HoBao, is still making them and selling parts. OFNA was just a distributor, didn't actually make anything. They sold cars made by Hong Nor and HoBao. I have heard thru the grapevine that Hong Nor got sold to someone, and that HoBao is going to be distributing their own brand. I'm hoping that means they will continue the Hyper line.

Same here, Rob. I am so used to my Nexx10SC, it'd be hard to go to another truck. Though it might be getting to that time, with this year being the 3rd year I've raced it on a lot of the original parts.
