Evader Ext2 Brushless Help

I have the Sidewinder SV3 esc and want help with what to put in as a brushless motor. The old one has broken and want one that'll run with good temps and 3s. I don't have the most amount of space to drive, just a strip of road that we have. It's on asphalt. Can I know the best tires/wheels, motor, and pinion/spur gear for speed? Thanks a Lot.

Grab a Castle 4600kv motor (or similar motor that with allow 3S), 88/16 gearing (for starters), extra long strip of road, possibly some lead weight, wheely bar, and don't forget an infrared thermometer. Tires...grab the cheapest ones you can find, 'cause running 50mph on asphalt, while trying to turn, will eat rubber all day long until you aint got no more.

Personally, I wouldn't go over 3000kv with a 3S pack.

Good luck, and get it on video !

Can I go for a 3800 kv instead and gear it higher? Thanks

You can use whatever you want. Each RCer's needs are different, and each RC's tolerance for torture is different :D. A lightweight stadium truck with a good motor; on 3S, is gonna fly no matter what. A 3800Kv motor on 3S will be more manageable than a 4600Kv motor. How much room you have and the terrain will ultimately be the deciding factor.

I hope you have T-Bone Racing bumpers installed front and rear. You know the Evader has been discontinued, right? So parts are becoming scarce. I'd think twice about making a speed demon out of a car you can't get parts for. And unless your Evader has the metal diff, I would also think twice about running 3S. Jus' Sayin'.....

I have actually sheared off an EXT axle on 3S, twice.

There you go.
