Oval race/bash 1/10 sc or stadium truck on a budget

I want to get another short course or stadium truck but don’t want to break the bank. I have a Redcat caldera SC10e that I have mastered driving and it’s been a ton of fun, but my little brother is starting to want to drive it so I want to build another truck. I will use this for bashing (no extreme jumping or anything) and occasionally going to my local track where I will probably oval race it but might run it on the off-road course some. I want this thing also to have some pretty good speed on road.

I am willing to build a truck or swap electronics to make it more fun or to keep the cost down

My budget would have to be under 300 for everything

just found one of my old Losi remotes. It has 6 channels from 26.995-27.255mhz.

Could I possibly use this? As always, any and all replies are appreciated
