which scooby body??
I have a HPi RS4 Rally car and i brought the kit with the Focus WRC body. This body has seen better days.
http://www.nenevalleyraceway.co.uk/G...7/IMG_0001.JPG http://www.nenevalleyraceway.co.uk/G...7/IMG_0006.JPG I want to get ONE of the two new age Subaru Impreza shells that HPi do...(bit of a scooby fan) Either this touring one: http://www.hpi-europe.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=7499 or this WRC one http://www.hpi-europe.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=17505 Now the thing is i am going to paint the shell white ALL WHITE and going with the subtle look (no racing/rally graphics) just lights and grills. - going for the drift car look ;) and i am going to get it off with these wheels http://www.hpi-europe.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=3835 and new tries of course. PLease help me decide of sheels please. Darren |

Thanks guys, the blue one was the one I was going to go with before I put this thread up, but just wanted to make sure it was the right choice :)

I have both (also a scoob nut!) but it depends what kind of racing you going to be doing!
If you going to use the car for bashing around and racing then I suggest getting the racing impreza cause the injection moulded plastic wing is a lot more durable. I think all of HPI's bodies should come with injection moulded wings. It has alot more down force effect as well...also looks the part. The body has a body kit on it to make it look like a tuned up street car. The WRC version looks cool but after a couple of tumbles the wing falls off and it's a pain to keep sticking it back![:@] My scoob cents worth! |

I take on board what you said about the difference in scoob 2004 shells. and I know what you mean about the rear wing falling off...the same thing happens on my Focus shell.

I have decided to get the moulded plastic rear wing and looks more like a drift wing which i am creating a drift lookign wrc scoob ;)

Ah, but do i leave it black or paint it white so it matches the white shell and white wheels??
