Fine for bashing, I wouldnt use it for racing as it's no high performance matched GP cells, but for regular messing around it should be fine.

Check out the Integy IBs 3600. I got mine from the LHS but much cheaper for a great deal than the price on Tower which is 36.99 IIRC.

I'd try these, they are cheaper, and I have 2 packs. I think they are very very good for the money. I use them in a RC10B4 FT with the 6.5 Novak brushless setup and deliver great run-times. I've never had them false peak or any other such problems

I have one of these and it is definitely better than the other cheapo 3k's I have.

the ones stockerbrain mentioned are probably better than the venom 3600's. Besides for the price of the venoms + 2.99 he can get the boom booms which are a side by side configuration, have 200mah more run time, and probably have better lifetime and voltage

R/C got a point I have heard nothing but good things about BOOMBOOM's though I don't have any experience of my own with them, not yet anyway[>:]. Out of the 3600's I have I really like the SMC's, what I'd really like to do is compare them to Boom's

lol why does everyone call them boom booms, they dont make the cells, they just assemble the battery pack....

I just bought 2 of these Duratrax 3600 from lhs. Sorry I haven't tried them yet. Will try to post after testing them.

how should i break in the duratrax 3600?....i was thinking charge it for 15hrs on slow charge?.....or do i even need to break it in?

EDIT: im using a duratrax intellipeak ac/dc pulse charger

With most batteries i've heard to do the following.

1.charge at 1 amp till done and discharge.

2. charge at 2 amp till done and discharge.

3. charge at 3 amp till done and discharge.

and so on till you reach the disired rate of charge.

P.S. I can't remember where I heard this sorry.
