So, what now? Leave as is? Make it into a display queen? Or build it and run the snot out of it? No, its NOT for sale. It was a gift from a friend.

Build a shelf queen. If you want a runner get one from Ebay. I wouldn't run it. I have an old RC10CE and to be honest they're not all that much fun when compared to other buggies out there but having a never run car could bring in some $$$ in the future.

THere is a guy at the local track that runs one and he does really good with it. I say build it and run it.....you only live once!!

theres no need to run it. There are so many rollers out that on ebay. just get one of those and beat on it

Its going on the shelf. Ive got other ones to run(Slash, Rusty, Mini-quake, Scorpion and a heli). Back in the day, I would have given my left nut for one of these.

Another vote for shelf queen. An RC10 can be had for like $50. Get a cheap one to play with, make that thing of beauty a display. Take lots of pics during the build, should be very nostalgic for many of us... ;)

If the box were still sealed I would say you should just put the box on a shelf and display, but since it appears to have already been opened I would assemble it, get someone to airbrush the body to exact box art specs and make it a shelf queen. Don't drive it, brand new never run RC10's are getting pretty rare!!!

ITBJHO, it should be a shelf queen...but a FUNCTIONAL shelf queen. Get some period-correct parts (motor, ESC...or...MSC...), an ancient JR Python radio...

Awesome... I remember my brother building this kit. Can't mistake that orange tub and white plastic. :)
