Is this a prototype or is this finished? I can't tell where a battery would go. Everywhere has "posts" sticking up in the chassis, where one could fit. Since the motor is set in the front, the only thing I see would be saddle packs in the rear.[:'(]

Now that I keep looking at it, it is set up for saddle packs.

Yes but those don't have all the bling on it like this one does. Maybe its the "14. Fully upgradable to 90% alum parts. " version.

i like the one without the bling, bling rarely adds performance. in this case the alloy version looks like it weighs a ton.

but if i were in the market for a 4wd buggy i'd ge the durango, thats a badazz buggy.

Looks built fairly decent, alot better than most of the other 1/10th scale buggies.
Most the alum is in good spots which I've broke plastic parts in on other RC's. That huge center brace though looks heavy, and IMO should have been CF seeing the chassis looks rigid enough to where it won't bend. But that is not a deal breaker to me ;)
Wish they had more info on the product page as to what the base version comes with, picks of it without its shell, price, as well as what type of batteries are needed for it. I'm curious cause I've been looking for a 1/10th scale buggy that could take a beating and this looks like it could be a contender.

This is the new Caster Racing S10B or Sniper 10 buggy. It is setup for saddle packs in the rear and the pics you see are of the PRO version. Also they should be prototype pics. There is a RTR version that might be available in the US and will come as either a brushless or brushed version. This buggy has been in development for 3 years and has finally now been released. This should be a true contender on the track!

I wonder, if you moved the receiver and ESC to the motor side, if there would be enough room for a proper lipo pack behind the servo. Honestly, who wants to deal with NiMH saddle packs these days?

probably could get 2 1S lipos or break a hard case 2S in half(only cause I can't find a 1S lipo with a decent capacity from a quick search) to make a saddle pack I guess, but still that is a pain.

holy crap the SK-10 has to be the most expensive 1/10th ever (and it beats most real cars too) each piece costs $10,000 :D
