at last my computer allows me to post pics...

btw, guess what guys?,,i did a personal speed test this pm. weather here was in 50's with 5 to10 mph wind but sunny.

so, i have 2 nimh and 2 11.1 lipo and stock motor, garmin 101 gps,, i ran the nimh batt hitting the speed of 32-34 mph give and take couple of miles, for me not bad, well, after 40 minute run both nimh drained then i took the lipo, kinda worried at first coz i might toast the motor but how will i know?,,after hooking the lipo did couple warm up, no sign of heat or smoke this thing is just another wild beast to tame ,just to much power, it needs a really easy squeeze of the throttle otherwise spinning all over the place.

after getting used to drive with lipo, i proceed speed test thing, it take somewhere 180-240 ft before i could wot, at this distance kinda hard to see it,,,to surprise me i'm getting a gps reading from 45-51.4 mph as my top speed..

wave waker,

your driver look really good.

for your runs did u add any weight to the kart to get better grip from the tires?

Boostoman,

thanks, no extra weights at all but i have the big 11.1 turnigy 4.0mah...

i got a video when i'm running it against the wind WOT and the kart went wheelie all the way until the driver helmet hits the ground and the kart bounced back and able to recovery,,it was awesome man, i got it in my video, wish i could share here but again my computer won't upload video,,,i'l probably fix it...

seriously, since i found out that this kart is capable to run 50 mph then i'm putting a canard kind of in the front and rear spoiler for downforce and linear stability and i believe this is functional and not for bling bling,,,see pics down.

i saw ur video and it looks like ur loosing grip from the dust in the pavement, the place i'm running is just like yours, a big parking lot but it is newly paved and clean.

what's going on here?

well, i found out that the bearing holding the front gear went bad and waiting my order to come,,,,,,,,so, i did a little mod, i shimmed the steering joints with lexan and now it's zero wobble, i'm hoping this will help the stability during high speed.

also did a rear and front spoiler, as you can see in previous pics the spoiler color is kinda neon green and doesn't much the color so i dyed it and it works, the front spoiler doesn't looks good but i'l wait until i test it if it works, hoping this will prevent the gokart from blowning over.

i'm also, working on driver, i want the arms and head will move as the gokart steers but i'm stink thinking at this time on how to...

looking forward to test the effect of the spoilers, working to push this thing to 60's mph.

sorry, can't post pics[:@]

I will be installing an plane gyro from HK (Turnigy TG-380 Aeroplane Gyro - Channel Controlled $17) which i have so see if i could improve the handling.
Please don't waste your money on the gyro. Gyros are for aircraft, and help compensate the control surfaces of an airplane or the swashplate of a heli. The best solution to your problem is to balance out the L/ R portions of your chassis. Get the weight of everything on the left and right, and subtract one from the other. If there's a difference of 1/2 an ounce or more, use some ballast to balance it out. Typically use lead weights.

When is the RC industry going to wake up and make 6S saddle packs (3 on each side)? That would be BOSS for you if your electrics can take it, that is.

Nice ride and love the carbon fiber bling BTW - please keep truckin!
