Default Good for college?

So ive got a lot of down time here at school. I brought some rc's with me already: two heli's and a vendetta. But i want something else! Im looking at an on road vehicle of some type. But im not sure what to get..

My campus is basically all cobble stones.. So i have no idea what size would work best on them. Im in the city so we have parking decks all around. My campus has one right down the street from me so i was thinking about using it there. I am interested in drifting.. But i dont know whats best. On road is not my specialty.. haha Is it possible to get a..lets say.. "normal" on road car and set it up for drifting? Im just gonna go ahead and guess that all i would need are hard rubber or near plastic tires?

Thanks everyone.

A Tamiya TT-01 is pretty cheap and can be set up to drift nicely.HPI T-Drift tires are a very hard rubber/soft plastic feeling composite tire and works well on a variety of surfaces...plus licensed tread patterns, haha.

Look into those maybe.

PVC/ABS pipe. PVC is more slippery so better for rough surfaces, abs a bit grippier as well as being the correct color.

Depending on your budget and your skill level...you can pick up a decent Factory Team TC3 or TC4 roller and it can be converted from touring car, speed demon, drifter, and even rally car. There are several threads you can check up on.

The HPI Cup Racers are fun too...I had one with a 5700kv motor in it with an Exotek carbon fiber chassis...they take 1/10 scale wheels/tires too if you don't want the scale 1/12 slicks or drift tires.

Hpi sprint 2 are great drifters & can be converted to have the motor up front & oversteer kits.
im running a HPI E10 Drift, it does the job. not the best stock but thay are cheap.
