Default Vaterra 1:10 1967 Ford Mustang V100-S

Hello all. I'm new to these forums.

Recently I have been looking to get a new RC car but have been wondering what to get. I currently race a Maverick Strada Evo XB but was looking at getting a touring car. I came across the Vaterra 1:10 1967 Ford Mustang V100-S (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.ph...FYfHtAod8EUAaw) but just had one concern, how fast is it?

My question to you all is: does it have the speed capability of being able to race evenly against club level cars? By evenly I mean would it be a close race or would I be left trailing behind?

I saw a review on the v100 brushed at bigsquid http://www.bigsquidrc.com/review-vat...et-camaro-zl1/
I have been hearing decent things about these. sounds like you'd need a better battery. Sometimes club racing requires a specific motor and/or esc so that could set you back a few more $.

I used a tl01 chassis and put hop-ups on it such as roller bearings, aluminum all over , speed gears and a exrun 10.5t brushless and it is freaking fast. I also did a tt02 chassis as wheel the same way and a 3.5t exrun motor and ESC.

I used the tl01 chassis and gotten the aluminum parts on eBay. Put bearings in the whole car and then used a exrun 10.5 T Brushless motor with tamiya hop-up speed gears. The pinion is a .06 mod 48 pitch 26tooth gear and powered by venom 3s battery and. But the deal is the tires I tape the inside with garella tape to keep it from ballooning. Boy it freaking fly.
