I am not able to get the red led to flash to start the programming sequence. I have downloaded the user manual and am following the

correct procedures

I have checked all wires and voltages, no problems.

I have steering but no motor.

any help would be appriciated.

Are you holding the set button on when you turn the ESC on ?

Yes, I also had a good look at the set button with a magnifying glass to see it it was loose/faulty.
I think it may be best to replace it.
