yea, i meant A parts, the problem with the E bag is you only get one... odd coupling of parts on that tree. i'll just buy another A tree and continue to replace em. i have a carbon stiffener, but i suspect it is not helping, perhaps making it worse.... bok, get the ezrun 5.5t it is bonkers! how would i go about getting bumper mounted posts? also the TGS parts, i found one on ebay, what does TGS stand for and what is the diff?
thanks.

Ok great, will get the EZRun 5.5, same price as the 8.5 and 13.5, might as well get the fastest [8D] The TGS is a 1/10 nitro touring car based on the TT01. Most of the parts are interchangeable like the knuckles, uprights and suspension arms. Since it is nitro it has stronger A parts

Tamiya TGS - notice the thicker diff cover/shock tower

For the bumper body posts, you can get them from the TB Evo 5 B parts tree:

Or the TA05 B parts tree:

gluing it might work for a few minutes, but anytime i have tried to do it it failed. i would go for the GPM, as they will work with the stock wheel axle and dog bone, i think the 3racing need universals to work. i have the GPM on mine, see pics above, and they work REALLY well, strong. i was breakin knuckles all the time. my 2 cents.

Are the rear uprights necessary to replace?
What about Yeah Racing ones...

Hows the shipping from RC mart?

another good thing to get would be the metal dog bones if you are running brushless.

You may want to check to see of the sway bar system for the TT01 will work with the TT01E. With the TT01 you have to buy a graphite chassis stiffener and the TT01E comes with the different chassis stiffener. You may want to call or email Tamiya America.

Hey...i used something call IPS Weld-on #16 as a quick fix so I can run my car until my alloy knuckles arrive and it works really good. Even did the unbroken side to get more strength in the part.Strong as a gorilla attacking a bushel of bananas=)

Most of the TT01 upgrades will work for the type E, except for the upper deck and aluminum steering kit. The swaybar kits from Tamiya will not fit the TT01E, unless you get the TT01D B parts which comes with different bumpers that have the mounts for the stabilizers. Then you have to change the axles, output cups and dogbones to metal. You will also need a couple more pieces to fit them, I don't know what they're called though. It's easier to mount the swaybars to the regular TT01, you just need to get the carbon upper deck and the adjustable upper arms.

My pinion and spur gears (stock, came with my tt-01d)  arent making good contact with each other for some reason after i changed my propeller shaft to an aluminium one. I changed it back to the plastic one but it still doesnt make good contact with each other. They make this metal like grinding noise and sometimes gets stuck and the car cant move... what can i do....?

You may have the motor in the wrong position on the motor mount. Check the manual for the correct holes on the motor mount for the pinion size your using.
