My TT-01 is back !
The Candycane Racer is Back !!
For the last Year and a bit my TT-01 sat on the Shelf, not being used as I had broken a few parts and chipped a few teeth on the pinion.
So I got off my Lazy rear end and rebuilt it... and I am Glad I did!!!
I had forgotten just how much fun a TT-01 is..
I have used the HPI EN1 ESC from my now binned E10 and have used the Reciever and Radio gear aswell.
I am using the Radial Tyres that are off the E10 Touring and I am using a Tamiya TZ motor on the 19T/61T Gearing..
I am using the friction Shocks of a HBX Lancer and all in all... it handles pretty good... nice turn in and seems to cope with the Bumps rather well..
Although the TT-01 doesn't handle any where near as good as my Cyclone S.... I dont have to bother about Stones getting into the gearing !
There is just something about a TT-01 that just makes it Soo fun to drive...
I have a Full Ball bearing kit and Alloy propshaft (Seems to be the minimum Standard these days for a TT-01) so the Power from the TZ motor doesn't get lost in propshaft flex and from a Stand Still all you can hear is the tyres struggling for Grip and off it goes.. It seems to accelerate faster then my Cyclone S but that could be just a feeling more then a fact..
So If there are any TT-01 owners out there wondering what motor to wack in their TT-01, Go for a Tamiya TZ or RZ and just have some Fun !!!

Nah cutting the Body posts restricts my shell options.... and I have over 15 Shells for my TT-01 and some require nearly the Whole Body post to fit..

I'm gonna be sad to say good bye to a few of my red alloy parts. I can't use them with the graphite chassis. The red motor mount and red battery heat sink were the two biggest. But I also have to say goodbye to the alloy battery posts (blue). I also have to decide which upper frame I want to keep, the graphite or the carbon.

Same, but you can never have to many, just ask magnat!
I currently have a Ferrari Enzo body (my incredibly MESSED up body, that I use when my friends come over to drive.. I could practically care less about it )
Then I have my RX7, which I bought, and I LOVE it. (Only I, and people I know, are great RC drivers).
