Default rc speed car

im trying to find a base for a good speed car and i found that most pepole use a tc4 for this aplication and i would like to use a tc4 but being that you have to up gade parts of the drive line so they dont melt would it smarter to just buy a team associte rc10r5 pan car? or would it not be a good car to use as a speed car? im sorta leaning towoards the rc10 r5 becouse it's lighter than a tc4 and alot of the drive line is metal or alumanum and the chassie is carbonfiber but is the lack supention going to hurt the stabilaty of the car in a blacktop parking lot? i need alitle guidence on what car to use. i will be using a mm 7700 on a 2 cell lipo and posibly a 3cell lipo

thanks tyler

Default RE: rc speed car

How about a TC4 Factory Team?! I have found the drivetrain on it to be very stout...

Probably easier to handle (4WD) compare to a pancar!!
