sprint 2 ? worth the money ?
well i was going to get sprint 2 (because my e10 can't handle touring) the small bevel gear too easy to strip also the e10 setup are more suitable for drifting ~ so i giveout my e10 not for touring..
as far i only concern few thing before i get that chassis kit
1 : izzit durable ? like arm bulkhead , lower arm pin holder , belt also pulley
2 : handling ? would it better than e10 if touring ? i know e10 handle great at drifting
3 : does this kit can use for serious racing ? like cyclone TC Do ? if yes i would like to upgrade it to full carbon fiber
need ur guy advice
thanks

thing is madd tough i can vouch MANY times. It is better quality than the E-10 and more tunable. Serious racing? not sure.. but depending on the power tuning and drving you can hang on the track.
A used rolling chassis and getting your own electronics is DEFINATELY worth it. I personally think the flux is too much brand new. Wudnt pay no more than $70-80 for a stock roller.

Early on in the Sprint 2 thread will show you the "dremel mod". This will greatly reduce the chances of getting stones lodged inbetween the diff, chassis, and rear belt.
If you're looking at the roller, you can get the 350Z Drift roller w/o electronics for about $140 new. You'll obviously just have to get some tires and rims, unless of course you use your old E10 ones.
IMO, the Sprint 2 is a good mix of basher/racer. It has good potential for either purpose. Plus HPI has a decent amount of upgrades for it.

I was also stripping the rear pinion on my e-10. I shimmed the ring gear closer to the pinion and havent had a problem yet. I run a mm with a 6700 kv brushless motor on 3s a123 cells. I also am using 31mm rear wheels.

Doing the dremel mod will help a ton with rocks being able to get out. Also a little work to the front end will help with the steering slop, other then that I think the sprint 2 is a top notch car for the price.

I really enjoy my Sprint 2 (Drift)... but I just do it to mess around with, I can't get into "serious" rc racing lol. But its a solid car as long as you take car of it of course
