Older Real Flight?

Have this thing and have used it for several years. The version is 1:10:145,I see all these different versions etc.I use windows 98 and a Pentuim 2 computer.Trying to figure out if should buy a newer one I hearpeople talk of having much better control such as having twins and being able to shut off an engine etc.Can I update this one or do you need to buy a newer version.THey aren't cheap hate to spend the money if not necessary.Would adding of some of the versions I see advertised do the trick? Can somebody explain some of this to me!!Thanks Bob Moodie

If you get on the Real Flight site, you can download a lot of upgrades to the one you have for free. I have Deluxe version 1.20.071 and downloaded upgrades to make it version 1.20.216.

Thanks for the replies fellows, went there and did that!Bunch of new features another question!Found out how to shut off the engine but is there anyway to shut off only one engine as on the P-38,Will be flying one before long and sure would feel better with a little practice in one engine recovery!!Again Thanks!!

RE: Older Real Flight?

The only thing I know to do is to change the engines so that the left engine is weak or non existant and the right engine is strong. This can also be done with the torque curve of the engine.
