Sim/Radio

Hello,

I am new to the sport, and this christmas i hope to by a kit, that i can work on. Is there any Free flight Simulators out there that have good graphics and are realistic. Also is there any way to make a scratch built Radio??? Or would i have to go and buy one ARG.
