Will Real Flight G2 USB controller work with FMS?
 

I just ordered Real Flight G2 USB and was wondering if the USB Interlink controller would work with FMS?

Second question: Does the USB Interlink controller use a COM port?

I have played with the FMS software using a joystick, but it would be interesting to compare the two software packages with a real Tx!

It won't work. In fact, some people have had trouble getting it to work with G2. lol. GreatPlanes strikes again.

It works just fine with fms you just have to change the channel numbers and calibrate it.

Could you, please, provide some details how it all works.
Have you installed any special driver for this Interlink thingie or Windows recognized it as a generic joystick (Human Interface Device) and installed standard drivers? Is Interlink visible in FMS as a joystick and how many channels (moving bars in Calibration window) are available?

You only have to install the software that comes with the interlink. It is visible in the analog controllers section of FMS along with any other joystick devices that you may have on your computer. Just calibrate the one you want to use and the first 4 baras should work as your normal 4 channels. The knob works on channel 5 but does nothing when flying the planes.

Works fine on 98,me and 2k. I have not tried xp yet.
