Helicopter sim
 

Everybody here seems to be plane flyers. There sounds like there are four main heli flight sims available (G2, Aerofly,Reflex,Tru flight). I would like to know which sim is best suited soley to heli flying. I read this forum all the time and I know everybody has their own opinion on whats best but hearing from the heli people would be helpful. Also is there much difference between usb versions and gameport version??. Lastly I live in New Zealand and trying to find a place that sends sims overseas is quite difficult (I would prefer 2nd hand but hard to find) anybody have any ideas.

I have Aerofly, The Heli's are great. it can do autos - the works!

I got my copy in Germany last year, but a mate of mine in Dunedin ordered a copy from the states.

I have flown G2, Reflex and FMS, Aerofly is the best in my opinion.

I like the CSM V10.. Once you have the adapter for your radio and the computer, you get all the updates for free..

The graphics are no where near good compaired to RealFlight and such.. But the sim is very realistic.. I stay with the CSM because it works on my old and slow computer..

I have it set up to fly very similar to my Raptor 60.

Good to hear that. Which heli model do you think is the best in AFP for 3D ? Thx
