FMS??

Can crosswind be added to airplane in this sim,i need practice on crosswind landings?
Also...is FMS a fairly reliable sim as far as reality,i didn't want to get comfortable flying a model and go to the feild to learn that the sim was NOTHING like flying the real deal..if that were the case..why fly a sim at all?
In other words..spending 400-600 dollars on a plane just to bury it isn't my idea of a helpful tool..sooo...would FMS be worth it or spend 200 bucks on G2,which is the better tool,is the G2 worth it's 200 dollar price tag?
Thanks for reading?

RE: FMS??

I know nothing about FMS, but I do think G2 is worth the price. I did not have a sim when I learned to fly planes, but I learned to hover a heli on G2. I was able to hover my Raptor 50 the first time out due to my sim training. I am sure G2 saved me much more than its purchase price.

RE: FMS??

No wind in current FMS. Maybe a future feature?

My sim is AeroFly Pro and it has great wind effects.

Hello

How would you rate aerofly?

Realflight seems a bit pricy.

RE: FMS??

I've used FMS and it's OK, I think the sky looks better than RF but not as much versatility. The flight model, especially for the helis, dosen't seem as good. But there are a TON of aircraft to be downloaded for it, and it is free, and it will work with any transmitter.
