Duratrax Real Race controller problems.
 

I have had a Real Flight, and a Real Race for several years now. I haven't used the Real Race in about a year, and decided to try it today but the controller no longer worked. I tried to reinstall the software and still nothing. I took it over to my buddys house and there it works fine. My Real Flight controller works fine with my Real Flight G2. I have only one game port on my PC so I'm pretty sure it's not that. Maybe some of you computer wizards out there can help?

You may have to go into your game controllers menu on your PC and toggle between the two when you want to switch to Real Race. I also have Real Race and have not tried it since I installed G2. If I have a problem I will report back and let you know if the toggling worked.

Thanks for your reply Kmot. I used to switch to games back and forth with no problems, I didn't have to change anything but the controller. My buddy has G2 on his PC also.

I brought up the gaming options in my settings, and the Real Race controller was "not conected." How do I change it? I noticed the Real Flight was "OK". As you can tell, I don't know squat about computers. Thanks for your help, David

When you attempt to run Real Race, is your G2 USB controller still plugged in? If so, try unplugging the G2 controller first, before booting up the Real Race software.

Well, I just tried mine and it works fine. I did not have my Real Flight USB controller plugged in but my car race controller is plugged in and has been for a long time. Also, I have Real Race G2 version if that makes a difference.

Nope, still nothing. By the way, how do you get the Real Race G2 upgrade for $10? I saw it on there website so I responded for more information, but all I got was something saying they will get back to me ASAP, that was a few days ago. Maybe I should just start a new thread? Thanks again!

By the way I also removed the controller and the software from my pc and reinstalled it, and still nothing. Maybe the G2 upgrade will fix it?
