remove transmitter module?
Hello everyone,
I have the AeroFly pro sim, and I had heard that it might be a good idea to remove the transmitter module when using your tx as an interface. This way, you are not irradiating and possibly stressing the transmitter with the antenna down. Has anyone done this? If so, how is it done? |

RE: remove transmitter module?
If your 8U or 9C plug is wired correctly, you don't have to remove anything.

RE: remove transmitter module?
I have a Futaba 9C and I always remove my Module before using it with Realflight G2. The green RF light on the Tx is on while using the simulator, so that tells me that it is emitting a signal. Plus my battery last a lot longer with out the module in place while I am seating at the computer. With the green RF light on and the antenna down for an extended amount of time, this will make the internal componets over heat and cause problems in the long run. It only takes a second to remove the module. Just be sure to place the module out of harms way.
